Premium Spa Service Includes

​

Biofilm Eliminator added for a full system flush

Filters chemically cleaned and rinsed

Spa fully drained, rinsed

Spa shell chemically cleaned and rinced

Equipment bay cleaned, unions and equipment checked

Refill spa, refit filters, switch on and prime pumps

DMB Pools Summerise

Opening the pool for Spring & Summer.

​

  1. Remove leaves and debris from the winter pool cover / saftey cover.

  2. Take off the winter cover, clean it, and store it.

  3. Reconnect up pool pump(s) and filter(s) and reconnect all pipework connections.

  4. Remove leaves and debris from skimmers, filters, pumps and drains.

  5. Take out leaves and debris from the pool.

  6. Fill / drain pool water to proper level.

  7. Switch on the filter pump and make sure all skimmers, bottom drains, outlets and filters are functioning properly.

  8. Vacuum up any remaining fine debris in the pool floor and walls.

  9. Test water to see if any chemical adjustments have to be made.

  10. Once adjustments have been made to balance the water, shock treat the pool.

  11. Replace the summer cover / safety and any pool fixtures i.e steps diving boards removed for winter.

DMB Pools Winterise

Closing the pool for Autumn / Winter.

​

  1. Net floating debris and vacuum pool floor and walls thoroughly.

  2. Adjust pH to 7.2-7.8 to prevent stains, scaling and algae growth. Shock treat the pool.

  3. Add an algaecide to prevent algae from forming..

  4. Run the filter pump to circulate the chemicals.

  5. Lowering your water level below skimmers and draining pipelines.

  6. Backwash the filter thoroughly to completely clean the media bed. 

  7. Shut off filter pump and drain pump, filter heater and all other equipment. Isolate  all power to the support equipment or put on timer if frost stat present.

  8. If you have steps or diving board, remove them and store away for winter.

  9. Cover pool securely with the Winter Debris Cover. A quality winter pool cover helps keep out leaves and airborne debris but allows water to filter through over the closed period.

DMB Pools Filter Media Change Service

Every 3 - 5 years you should replace the sand in your pool filter, the sharp edges of the sand particles become worn and rounded and no longer capture the contaminates as efficiently.

​

Service includes:

Removal of old sand or other filter media, thoroughly clean tank and replace with new media*.

An inspection of the lid and o-ring integrity upon removal and visual check of the internal laterals

and advise on whether replacements are required. 

*Upgrades from Silica Sand to Standard Glass media or Advanced AFM Glass media available.
